Nearly every "gamer party" guide is really an advert for one company's characters. This one is not, which also means nothing here goes out of date when a child moves on to the next game.
A party built around one specific game is out of date in eighteen months, and the child in the photos has usually moved on before the photos are printed. The look — chunky pixels, bright primaries, black outlines, arcade cabinets — is forty years old and still reads instantly to a six-year-old.
It is also the honest option. We do not use other people's characters, and we do not use the near-miss spellings that are pretending not to.
Arrive and make something (badge, name tag). Eat. One big active game. One quiet activity while the sugar lands. Cake. Go home. Two hours. The plan matters more than the decorations and it is the part most guides skip.
What reads as pixel from across the room.
Scoring that keeps everyone playing.

Use what they love about games, not against them.
