Teacher Thank-You Week Plan for Room Parents, May 2027

A 14-page printable for the room parent who has an email from the PTA, some money in the class fund and one week to thank the teacher. It plans the week in early May when many US schools thank their teachers (2 to 8 May 2027), using the school days, Monday 3 to Friday 7 May, as five small things, one a day, and asks no family for money.

Inside: a cover (1); an overview with the week's dates and a day-by-day table (2); a five-days-at-a-glance sheet with a countdown from April (3); a budget planner with a worked example for a $40 fund (4); one page for each day: a note from every child (5), a class video with a script for each child to finish (6), a flower from every home or a drawn one (7), one book for the classroom library with a bookplate the class signs (8), and a signed card of the year's best moments (9); a sign-up sheet of ten ten-minute jobs (10); a kickoff email and a reminder email to families (11); a note template for the children (12); a teacher favourites survey to send in April (13); and a no-cost version of every day, an after-the-week checklist and the source of the dates (14).

How it is used: print on US Letter or A4, fill in the fund and the helpers' names, and send the kickoff email and sign-up around 12 April, three weeks before. The same five days move to any other week, such as the last week of school. Anything that costs comes from the class fund; the no-cost version on page 14 costs nothing.
